What string can I use with this yoyo?
Standard polyester yoyo strings work best. We recommend bright colored SkillAddicts yoyo strings for the best visibility.
How to attach string to a yoyo and to my finger?
Place the string between the second and third knuckle of your middle finger for the best control. Tighten the slipknot on your finger to stop the string from sliding off.
Do not tie a knot on the yoyo. Untwist the end of the string to open the loop. Place the loop around the bearing. The loop closes on its own once you release it.
How long should a yoyo string be?
Most players use a length from their waist to the ground. But you can adjust the length to match your style and comfort.
How can I learn yoyo tricks?
Use the SkillAddicts app. It walks you through tricks and levels in a simple way. You learn step by step and get guidance from the pro players.
What should I do when my yoyo does not come back?
Make sure your yoyo spins with enough force to return to your hand. Weak throws cause most return problems.
Use a quick, short pull when you want the yoyo to come back. Long, slow pulls do not trigger the response system and the yoyo will not return.
What should I do when my yoyo tilts to one side?
This happens when the throw is off. The yoyo tilts because of the player, not because it is broken. Throw it straight, not sideways. Use a strong throw for faster spin. Faster spin increases stability and keeps the yoyo on its line.
