Sky Rocket is a finishing trick for the end of a yoyo performance. It only counts if you get the yoyo above your head, and landing it in your pocket is a bonus.

The trick in steps
- Throw a Sleeper
Start with a Sleeper.
- Take the loop off
Take the slip knot loop off your finger.
- Tug it up
Tug the yoyo up, almost throwing the slip knot into the air. Aim to send the yoyo above your head.
- Catch the yoyo
Catch the yoyo as it comes back down.
Tips
- Catch with one or both hands
- Launch the yoyo up, above your head
- Make sure the whole string winds up into the yoyo
Common mistakes
- Yoyo not flying above your head
- String not fully wound into the yoyo
- Using an unresponsive yoyo
