Cascade on a Yoyo
Cascade is two hops down and two hops up. Where the string sits on your fingers is what makes or breaks it.
The trick in steps
- Hop one
Start with Double or Nothing. Pop the yoyo up, drop the top string off your non-throw hand index finger and land on the outer string.
- Hop two
Pop the yoyo up again, drop the string off your throw hand index finger and land in a Trapeze.
- Hop three
Pop the yoyo up and land in a Brother Mount.
- Hop four
Pop the yoyo up again and land in a Double or Nothing.
- Roll out and bind
Roll out into a Trapeze, then bind to get the yoyo back to your hand.
Tips
- Spread the strings apart to make room for landing on the correct string
- Keep the string on your fingers only
- Land in Double or Nothing without any stops or back-and-forth swinging
Common mistakes
- Keeping the strings close together
- Landing on the wrong string
- Landing on more than one string
