Rock the Baby is one of the most famous yoyo tricks there is. It is a classic, and most players treat it as a trick you have to know.

The trick in steps
- Throw a Sleeper
Start with a strong Sleeper.
- Make an L shape
Make the same L shape with your throw hand as in Robin Hood.
- Spread your fingers
Bring your non-throw hand down under the yoyo and spread your fingers to make the triangle as wide as you can.
- Rock and catch
Rock the yoyo gently inside the triangle. Then drop all the strings and bring the yoyo back to your hand.

- Practice the trick first with the yoyo not spinning
- Throw hard and straight
- Spread the triangle as wide as possible
Common mistakes
- Yoyo touching one of the triangle strings
- Not swinging through the triangle
