How To Scoop a Spin Top
Scoop is a useful way to get the spin top off the ground and into your hand. It looks simple, but it works off the physics of the spin top.
The trick in steps
Pick your spinning spin top up off the floor with Scoop, the simplest of the pick-ups. Start with Spinner and throw the spin top so it spins on the ground.
Open your middle and ring fingers and bring your hand towards the spin top. Keep your palm facing up and your fingers open.
Tap the spin top quickly with your middle finger. The rotation of the spin top plus the tap of your finger pops it up onto your palm.
