The Spinner: How To Throw a Spin Top
Spinner is the first spin top throw and the first trick. Get it landing on the tip and everything else in the discipline builds on it.
Step by step
Wind up the spin top and hold it in your throw hand, tip pointing up.
Bring your arm up to shoulder height. Keep it stretched, do not bend it.
Throw towards your spot with the arm stretched. Move your shoulder, not your elbow.
Pull back once your hand reaches your waist.
If the spin top does not land on its tip, adjust the angle in your hand before the next throw.
