Boomerang to Trapeze on a Spin Top
Boomerang to Trapeze is a new way of throwing and catching the spin top. This time you catch it directly onto the string.

The trick in steps
Hold the spin top in your throw hand the same way as for any other spin top throw.
Move your throw hand right in front of you and flip the spin top 90 degrees, with the tip pointing towards your non-throw hand.
Drop the spin top down, then pull your arm up to throw it into the air while keeping it horizontal.
Grab the string with your non-throw hand and catch the spin top on the string.
Make a counterclockwise circle with both hands, then pull your hands apart to throw the spin top back up onto your hand.
Tips
- Start with your throw hand up and in front of you
- Flip the spin top 90 degrees with the tip pointing towards your non-throw hand
- Pull the spin top straight up
- Aim the string at the lower part of the spin top's body
