How to do Split the Atom
- Split Bottom Mount
- Start with a Split Bottom Mount.
- Non-throw hand under
- Next, your non-throw hand moves under and around the yoyo towards you until you are pushing the two strings in front forward with your index finger.
- Throw hand under
- Move your throw hand under the yoyo away from you as the yoyo lands on the back string that’s pushing with your index finger.
- Flip forward
- Insert throw hand index finger in between the string, and flip forward, similar to Braintwister, 3 times.
- Unfold and bind
- Then unfold the strings and bind to catch.
Tips
- Spread the strings apart to create space for landing on a correct string
Most Common Mistakes
- Dropping all string before return instead of unmounting
