The trick in steps
- Throw a Breakaway
Start with a Breakaway.
- Stick your finger out
Stick your non-throw hand index finger out at waist level.
- Land on the string
Let the yoyo swing around that finger and land on the string.
- Pop off and catch
Pop the yoyo off the string and catch it straight away. You can also unfold the string, tug, and let the yoyo come back to your hand.
Tips
- Land the yoyo close to your non-throw hand index finger
- Move your hands slightly closer to soften the landing
Common mistakes
- Landing on the string far from your non-throw hand
- Landing on a string that is stretched too tight
