Mach 5 Video Tutorial
- Learn Mach 5 yo-yo trick from pro yoyo player Ann Bubak
Tips
- Keep both hands in one line with the yoyo
- Strings slightly stretched
- Unmount and bind properly
Most Common Mistakes
- Strings too stretched
- Strings too loose
- Dropping all string before return instead of unmounting
How To Do Mach 5
- Split Bottom Mount
- You’ll start similar to elevator by lifting the string with your non-throw hand. Then, take your throw hand index finger against the string, close to the yoyo, and perform a “Split Bottom Mount”. To do this, you’ll push your finger against the string, while slightly swinging the yoyo over and away from you, to land on the string.
- Non-throw hand forward
- From here, move your non-throw hand forward, under, and around the yoyo.
- Move both hands
- Next, make several rotations, moving forward, with both of your hands.
- Unfold and bind
- After completing the rotations, unfold the string, do a frontstyle bind, and get the yoyo back to your hand.
