Best Juggling Balls

Juggling balls for learning are beanbags: leather or textured skins filled with sand, so they stop dead when dropped instead of rolling away. Three of our balls and a week of short sessions gets you a Cascade.

Beanbags. Because you will drop them.

Hundreds of times in the first week. A beanbag lands and stays; a bouncing ball is across the room. The Starter Juggling Ball is leather, six panels, 120 g - built for clean throws and safe catches. Three of them and a pouch make the Starter Juggling Set, which is everything the three ball cascade needs.

When you train, not just try

The Infinity Juggling Ball is the beanbag professional jugglers use: 115 g, grippy textured skin, water resistant, made in the Czech Republic, 3 year warranty. Three of them are the Infinity Set. Built with pro juggler Daniel Tamariz.

Learn it properly

How to juggle three balls - one ball, two, then the cascade. The SkillAddicts app takes it to four and five. YouTube shows you the trick. SkillAddicts gets you there.

Juggling FAQ

Three beanbags around 120 g. Beanbags do not roll when dropped, they are easy to catch, and they forgive bad throws while you learn. The Starter Juggling Set is three Starter Juggling Balls and a pouch - the setup for learning the cascade. When you train daily, move to the Infinity Juggling Ball.

100 to 130 g for beanbags. Lighter balls are faster and harder to control; heavier ones tire the arms. The Starter Juggling Ball is 120 g and 60 mm; the Infinity is 115 g and 67 mm.

No. They bounce, they roll, and they are too light and too hard to catch cleanly - every drop becomes a walk across the room. Oranges and apples are worse. A beanbag costs about the same as a can of tennis balls, it lands where it falls, it holds its shape, and it is safe for the things around you.

  1. Make the three ball cascade boring - 100 catches without thinking.
  2. Practise two balls in one hand, both hands, until it is even.
  3. Start the four ball basics - two in each hand, then the fountain - a few throws at a time.
  4. Follow the ladder in the SkillAddicts app; it will not let you skip the step that breaks four balls for most people.

A soft ball with a fabric or leather skin filled with sand, grain or plastic pellets. It flattens slightly in the hand, it does not bounce or roll, and it is the type almost every juggler learns on and many keep for life. Beanbags come in different fills and skins - leather with panels like the Starter Juggling Ball, or a textured rubbery skin like the Infinity.
