Slack Trapeze on a Yoyo

Slack tricks all start the same way: you pinch the string at a particular point to create the slack. Slack Trapeze is the first one, landing you in Trapeze off a slack move.
The trick in steps
- Pinch the string
Start in a Trapeze, then hop the yoyo off and pinch the string between your index and middle finger.
- Send the slack over
Swing your throw hand to the other side so the string slack goes over your non-throw arm.
- Land on the far string
Land the yoyo on the string farthest from you.
- Swing in and bind
Swing inwards, over both hands, to get back into a Trapeze. Then do a Sidestyle Bind to return the yoyo to your hand.
Tips
- Pinch the string with your non-throw hand thumb and index finger
- Drop the string from your non-throw hand when the string reaches the yoyo
- Unroll into Trapeze over both hands
Common mistakes
- Wrong string release timing
- Not pinching the string
- Tangled string
- Landing on the wrong string
- Creating a string wrap around the bearing when dismounting
