got it for my son, he is happy about it. I saw him dropping it many times and the diabolo still plays fine

Things people ask
Contact usA Chinese yoyo, or diabolo, is a big yoyo you spin on a string between two handsticks. The fixed axle is the original form: the axle is locked to the cups, so it spins only as fast as your sticks drive it.
A little, at the start. It slows down faster, so you accelerate more often, and that is exactly what teaches proper technique. Once your accelerations are solid, it gives the feel and control advanced players prefer.
New to diabolo? Start with the Ball Bearing Diabolo: it spins longer, so you progress faster. Pick this one for classic technique, direct feel and tricks like the Elevator. The Complete Diabolo Set has both.
No, this is the diabolo on its own. Both the Aluminium Diabolo Sticks and the Plastic Diabolo Sticks come with a string, and the Complete Diabolo Set has this diabolo with sticks, string and a bag.
Yes. At 215 g it is light, and the wide 130 mm shape makes catches on the string easier. It is standard size, so any sticks and string fit, and the rubber cups are fine indoors and out.
